The Grill at Bal Harbour is a Hillstone property located within the luxurious Bal Harbour Shops in South Florida, one of the oldest and most affluent outdoor malls in the country. I researched the venue’s rich history and took inspiration from graphic design of the sixties, when the mall first opened.
Referencing the hand drawn logos of Saul Bass and Alvin Lustig, I created an icon based on the unique shape of the restaurant, with the dining room jutting out over the valet. The vibrant green color used throughout fits right in with the lush surroundings.
